I had these really fun snorkeling photos from a cruise this past year with my in-laws (you might notice 2 of Kiwi Lane’s Owners in the photo).  We visited Grand Cayman and it was absolutely beautiful and the beaches were amazing. In this layout I incorporated two of Kiwi Lane’s featured sets for January 2014: Chevrons & Tiny Nature.  These are two of my favorite sets.  You can do so much with both Nature and Tiny Nature and the new Chevron set is just SUPER FUN!!!

I came up with a super fun technique to try with the Chevrons Set.

Here are some photos of the steps I followed.

a1-First cut out your Chevron piece.  (I used 2A & 2B)a2-Use any flat edge of any border set you have (I used a 12″ strip)  you could also use a thick cardstock or any other flat edge you may have. Place this straight edge in the center of your Chevron Set.a3– Begin folding the bottom half of your Chevron Border up to that straight edge.
a5-Continue until you have folded up all bottom points.  Once you have, begin distressing along the edges.  Use adhesive to hold together and then adhere where you wish on your page.
